

On March 9, Matty B and The Dirty Pickles will enter the brand new state of the art recording studio Hard Luck Studios in Red Hook, Brooklyn to record their first full-length studio CD.
The Studio is booked around the clock for 96 solid hours where the band will record, sleep, and mix 12 to 14 songs.
Produced by Kipp Elbaum (production credits include The X-Whites, The Tubes, Valley Fever, The Drossells) and engineered by Jason Spittle (including, They Might Be Giants, Mojo Nixon, Joan Jett, Patty Smith, Nickelodeon, CNN, NBC).
Guest performers will include Danny Ray, sax, (including, D-Generation, The Stray Cats, Billy Idol, The New York Dolls), Wild Bill Thompson, guitar, (including, The Stray Cats, Robert Gordon, The Senders). Adding some female backup vocals will be Courtney of Future 86, whose song “I Want It All” has been prominently featured in a Time Warner Cable TV commercial.
An official release date of June 1, 2008 for the tentatively titled CD 'PICKLEBILLY' is scheduled. By the end of June, the CD will be available at Amazon.com and CD Baby as well as others. Of course, it will be available through both thedirtypickles.com and their MySpace in both hard copies and downloadable versions.
As always Matty is thinking about his fans first, and his fans can help get this CD launched. A limited edition advanced copy with bonus tracks and added features will be available in pre sale to his most loyal fans.
